Since it’s launch a few days ago Google Nemesis has been blowing up the forums, blogs and the inboxes of just shy of every person to set foot in Internet Marketing. Is it worth it? Does all this hype hold any grains of truth?
Unfortunately I can only speak to my own personal experience. I’ve been a fan and avid user of Chris X and his line of Day Job Killer products since they first started coming out. I own everything. But more than that I USE everything.
Here’s what I know about his previous products:
#1: They are amazingly well written.
Yes, I am aware he hires somebody to do this for him! But the stuff reads so well I actually found myself laughing out loud at some of the phrasing. I would highly recommend you give it a read.
#2: They are quite accurate in what they say about buyer psychology.
In fact, I have used many of the psychological tactics in many of my own products and advertisements.
#3: They are “incomplete”
Let me explain this one a bit more. In every product you’ll ever find there are inherent flaws. Everything. From toothpaste to marketing how-to guides. It’s impossible to create the perfect product for every person.
Many times with internet marketing people will purchase a product and then say “but what do I do now?” The answer is… implement and see how it works for you.
The missing link for so many comes only in the form of self discovery. Not every market reacts exactly the same, not every person is able to use the same sales tactics.
Good products, and even great products have holes in them which for the most part will can only be filled by an individuals desire to make the system work for them.
I know. It’s weird.
This is why there’s such a high value placed on personal coaching. Only in personal coaching is the teacher able to directly work with the student and see where those small “training gaps” really exist.
Does that make sense?
About Google Nemesis:
Most of the emails I’ve received about this are comments about posts made in forums. Posts saying that you should “opt out” of anyone’s list who would endorsed such an over-hyped obvious rip-off product…
Not to bash on those kids… but shut the fuck up.
Seriously, nobody benefits from the forum screaming and fighting. You can post your own review… you can make all the comments and suggestions you like, but to tell impressionable people never to discover for themselves what will work and won’t work is pure evil.
I mean that. It’s just dumb. So stop it.
Google Nemesis is not for newbies. Nothing Chris X puts out is for total newbies. He even admits that in his own writing and products.
If you watched the pre-launch video to the end he even makes the statement that “this system will not make you rich” He flat out says the goal is to get a person to making their first $100 per day online.
And I think that’s fair. $100 bucks a day is a great success!
But What About The Hype?
I have told many people NOT to buy Google Nemesis. Let me explain why:
If you are just getting started GN is NOT what you should be spending your money on. In fact (and this is my own personal belief system working) Pay Per Click is NOT what you should be spending your money on.
PPC is a hard road to hoe for even the most seasoned marketers. It takes time, it takes testing and beyond everything else it takes MONEY TO LOOSE…
I think every person selling PPC advice should start off the sales pitch by saying “You need to expect to loose a few hundred before you see income”
The reason for this is because of the testing needed.
You need to test your headline…
You need to test your offer…
You need to test your landing page…
You need to test your testing…
It gets expensive.
I tell people not to use PPC as their method of advertising if they do not have the start up funds to loose at least $200 - $300 (depending on the niche)
Google Nemesis is a faster way to test than simply flying blind.
Here’s How It Works:
You will choose a product to promote.
You will create tracking links to that product
You will send traffic via PPC to a “presell page” where you offer a review of sorts on the product.
Here’s where it all comes together…
That review page is equipped with software which will tell you how long a person stayed on the site, approximately where the person stopped, which links were clicked, which keywords brought them in, and what they did when they left.
If you were around a few months ago you probably heard of a software called Conversion Profits. This was developed by a dude named Peter Yoon and shows conversion rates based on what people do when they come to your page.
I like this stuff. I used this stuff. And if the Good Dr. Yoon would grace me with an interview I might just show off exactly what this stuff does! (Hint, hint… Yoon… you out there… the button you’re looking for is called “reply”)
Please keep in mind this is not the full scope of what GN does, there are many more functions in there than I even have time to write about.
The Bottom Line:
What Google Nemesis does is shorten (hopefully) the learning curve and testing time between launching a PPC campaign and when it becomes profitable.
Can you get this information without paying for it? Sure. Just like you can get anything on the net without paying for it… if you run all over the place cobbling together bits from here and there.
Is it worth the price?
I have no idea. Back in the day I personally was a member of The Affiliates Den and enjoyed how the system worked. Do I still use it? No… because I have a list and can make money when I hit “send”.
Should You Buy It?
I have no idea. What I do know is you SHOULD NOT buy it if you’re broke and/or on your last few bucks. Whatever monthly fee Chris is charging does not include the cost for clicks.
If you can afford both the service as well as the word bidding… and if you are cool with learning some new tricks I’m sure Google Nemesis is perfect for you.

And no, this is not a shameless plug or anything

DJK Nemesis is hyped up on the sales page as (copied off the page):
“A plan already proven to generate upto $2,675 a day for “google newbies” and “clickbank veterans” alike – and one that can be repeated whenever you have a few spare minutes.” Jumped from the prelaunch $100.
“Clone our “click and profit” software and dip into the ClickBank cash mountain just by following “dummy proof” secret signals…” Well, I looked for the secret signals guide, there isn’t any. It’s just look to see which affiliates are selling products over a period of time, not new info.
A tool that gives you everything you need to profit - Now that’s pretty sweeping statement; every thing? Not in DJK Nemesis!
“Is the system easy to use? Absolutely…even a 7-year old child can follow the system in minutes.” I covered that below.
“YOU DON’T need a website – in fact, our software automatically creates your websites for you, and comes with cash-pulling website templates already built in, ready to go, for you to use immediately.

No it doesn’t! You got to make the template work for you by your own sales copy. It doesn’t do it on auto either, you still got to go out and find it, write it or elance it.
When you get on the inside it’s different story, altogther as he advises one to get a copy of “Adwords Miracles” to learn about adwords. Well, that contradicts the sales page about the 7 year old! I teach 7 year olds and they certaily don’t get Adwords classes in school!
Two of the e-books I got with it were not finishes. I submitted a Support Ticket and got no reply to the ticket but have had two emails asking me if I needed and help. I asked them to answer my Support Ticket question but they suddenly went quiet. If they’ve got time to write a personal e-mail to me offering e-mal support hiow come they haven’t answered my Support Ticket? The anwer is that the e-mail support is outsourced separately to the Help Desk. Der, gee, decentralisation?
There’s two videos, only, and are not downloadable.
I can see that if you know Adwords reasonably well it could work and work well, but you need to be an intermediate Adwords initiated marketer, I’m not. If I sat down and studied hard for a month or two I could probably use it and make money, but there’s no support, so far and no forum either and one is supposedly a member.
The Bonuses I got filled some big gaps, but only from a marketer. Very few, 30 in fact could get those, and they are well written but no videos yet. They are coing on DVD which will take a month to get here where I am, as they always do, perhaps six weeks. Why the hell couldn’t I download them to learn while I am waiting? That Bonus was and is JV with Chris and Michael Rasmussen to help people like me to get a grasp of it. Micheal writes much clearer and specific than Chris. Don’t know what the other 9,970 buyers will do. Perhaps they are already are initiated, annointed and apprenticed.
But, all is not lost as just today I got another offer, for free, that has all the training one could ever want
on Adsense and Adwords from the ground up from some one making a mountain of cash, too. That training is superb, all on video, and a book for $9.95 with a FREE Bonus!!!
If you ask me Chris X has become the very thing he says he’s not; an Adwords Guru. I suspect that is a natural progression, par for the course, etc. The software looks fantastic but you got to oil it with cash to keep it running for you, and all the work you put in using it is hosted in it on Chris’s servers not your hard drive. Not saying it’s not secure but hey, they can hack the Pentagon!

This stuff is not for those just getting started and like all things the “selling of it” is exactly that… selling. But you have to keep in mind, would you buy a product that told nothing but how hard it is to make money online… or would you rather have one that “made it so easy a 7year old could do it?”
Truth be told I think 7year olds are better suited to this line of work than most adults. So yea, I’d put my money on the kid!
I’m actually using GN right now to test out a campaign and I can see where some holes are: how the hell does a person write good sales copy?
I have a video for this and I think I’ll cover it in the next live coaching call.
Anyway, it seems the general feelings are that newbies should not buy this product.

#2: How to use Adwords…
I think I can solve both of these…

I just made the mistake of buying into the Nemesis product myself and was immediately disappointed that Chris recommended buying additional products to fill the holes in this very expensive one. No problem. I’m just not a huge fan of people buying stuff that won’t help them or put them deeper in the hole than they already are.
PPC is a huge no no for anyone struggling online. Too steep a learning curve and too much spending needed to succeed.

Personally, although I know it can be incredibly profitable, I really don’t like PPC. It just does not fit my personality type. I actually *like* writing and prefer to develop relationships with readers/subscribers.
That said, I have to admit my disappointment that Chris apparently did not create a “complete” solution (thanks Kevin, Wombat) for the price he’s charging. I had really hoped he would close the gaps a bit better than he did with DJK.

Wow! I wish I had run across this blog about ten months ago. That’s when I decoded to try an online business. I am very effective at my area of expertise but I knew nothing about internet marketing, internet basics, and I remain technically challenged.
I could have saved thousands, and I do mean thousands of dollars if I could have found someone to
explain what I was buying, what to buy and that just because you paid a big price tag for a “hold you by the hand” service from seemingly successful business people, doesn’t mean that you won’t get ripped off. Sometimes intentionally and sometimes because the person with the mentoring program just doesn’t have the time, the ability to explain or the knowledge or the quality of knowledge advertised. Just the expensive price tag. I’m talking thousands here.
I take responsibility for being the ultimate sap. But I have learned to recognize the takers thanks to the school of hard knocks. A big problem was that I was so inexperienced that i really didn’t understand a lot of the information that I read. Therefore, at least with products and software, I wasn’t clear on exactly what I was buying.
And trying to learn everything yourself only works if you have a fundamental grasp of the basics of the internet and how it works, or you are a genius. I am usually a quick study, but the internet marketing, technical stuff seemed like it was written in a different language. I didn’t know what many of the words they used even meant. I wasted a lot of time and money trying to figure it out on my own, not wanting to seem stupid When I did finally decide to for a mentoring program, I was so desperate and frustrated, that I just wanted someone that could help me. Never a good mindset when you are making a purchase.
I have discovered that there are websites that have a similar function as the Better Business Bureau, that you can see if there have been any complaint. And now there is this site where you can get a straight explanation and some objective suggestion. Another thing I have learned. If you are being pushed too hard to make a decision right on the stop, and they say things like “I thought You were the kind of person that could make a decision and take advantage of an opportunity. That’s the kind of person we want on our team.” or something similar when you want to sleep on it, run away. At least that has been my experience.
I hadn’t planned to go on like this, but if anyone is deciding to start an internet business, perhaps they can benefit from my costly mistakes, iN HIND SIGHT i WONDER HOW i COULD HAVE BEEN SO GULABLE

Nope, you’re not gullible, it’s simply ‘buying triggers’ that these dudes are hitting. Scarcity, fear of loss… these are very powerful and are used to make you want to buy without really thinking about it.
Now watch out for those Better Business Bureau looking sites… most of them are the worst! Because another powerful buying trigger is when you’re made to feel safe with the “don’t get scammed” line.
In reality most of those sites are just using yet another tactic to sell you a product.
What is best is when you get a sample before you need to buy, when you can actually develop a relationship with the creator before you slap down your credit card

Hi Chris,
I’m always confused about these ’software’ based make money/dominate the market solutions. If so many people buy them, doesn’t that make it tough for everyone else who buys it? There are only so many hot selling products on Clickbank & if Chris’ customers are going after them, who wins? From my thinking, there can only be one winner…or at most, 10-12 on the first page of Google in Adwords.
I recommended Google Nemesis to my list without really knowing what it was about…
I logged in and I see it’s a cool tool, just wierd that you need to pay $67/month for the service… can’t you jut buy, refund and use it?
There’s gotta be somethign fishy…
And here’s what he’s REALLY doing..
Imagine having 5000+ people do all the market research for you… hehe… how hard will it be for him to see ALL THE DATA 5000 people are generating and swiping THAT? Briliant…
Instead of looking down or complaining about anything he does, look at what he DOES… “Read between the lines”… and in all reality, you all have what it takes to make a million dollars online, it’s just about action more than anything…
Mind first, image what you WANT, then go get it with daily action!

You do have a point, but you also have to remember there is more than one way to win this game. Not everything is Google top 10 or the first 3 PPC slots…
What I like most about the stuff Chris puts out is the psychology behind gathering market data and presenting a pitch.
In my honest opinion (and in my experience) the two best people to combine for direct sales and online marketing are Chris X and Frank Kern. (And maybe a touch of the good doctor Jeff Walker!)
Hell, that’s what I did! Seems to kick ass so I’m going to stick with it.

Got to say I’ve come to the same conclusions as Jonny, Wombat, and Kevin. Nemesis is NOT complete and does not live up to its hype- and is certainly not for beginners. The PDF “instructions’ are more like loose suggestions. Nothing new here except the software, and very little on how to use it effectively.
And I was very disappointed, along with Kevin, at the immediate upsell that says “Thanks, sucker, for believing my hype and trusting my reputation. But if you want to actually have a chance to succeed with it, you’re going to have to pay me even more- 70% more every month- just to have a chance.” Pretty sleazy in my book, just like the gurus he pretends not to be like.
Good job on the reviews, Jonny and Wombat. And good comments as well.
I’m seeing what the monthly thing does and I have a feeling it’s to fill in these sorts of questions as needed. Now I’m just shooting from the hip here but I think if enough people have enough questions Chris is going to make a “swipefile” around that.
That’s not a bad way to go. IF that’s the way he’s going. I’ll ask and find out.
Here’s a question: would people like a fast video course to show how to do PPC on the cheap? I’ve picked up a few tricks here and there and if folks are down with it I could post a video… or something.

Yup yup im a sucker too. Im pretty new to this internet stuff aswell.
And i have minimal knowledge of how everything works.
But i read google nemesis and i thought i would be able to tackle
it as i got the impression i would have depths of
information on how to tackle it and start profiting online.
But the instruction manuals dont really satisfy my needs and dont
explain to me how to do much.
Does anyone know how i can cancel my membership. Because as johnny
said this is not for newbies and i am one. The webpage
did say there was a 56 (i think) day money back guarantee.

Hey, it’s that Jonny kid.
I read your post and I think since you bought the product you should
give it a fighting chance before you dump it.
There is a learning curve associated with it… but dumping and running
is not a good idea. It’s called “buyers remorse” and what will happen
is you’ll find it keeps happening over and over…
What I would do is set aside some time each day and digest the info.
Take a full 3 weeks to do it.
Remember… you already spent the money! At least make a good
attempt to learn the materials before you run away.
I can tell you that from my short time inside the members area
I’ve already picked up a few cool tricks I didn’t know before.
So am I saying it’s worth it? As before: I have no idea.
But since you spent your money you owe it to yourself
to get as many miles from each dollar as possible.

In the video I show a few alternatives to Adwords and show how you can use them to get pretty much the same results.
Hopefully it’ll help new/broke folks keep the costs down while they learn how to kick ass with PPC.
