Internet Marketing FAQ

Since it’s launch a few days ago Google Nemesis has been blowing up the forums, blogs and the inboxes of just shy of every person to set foot in Internet Marketing. Is it worth it? Does all this hype hold any grains of truth?

Unfortunately I can only speak to my own personal experience. I’ve been a fan and avid user of Chris X and his line of Day Job Killer products since they first started coming out. I own everything. But more than that I USE everything.

Here’s what I know about his previous products:

#1: They are amazingly well written.

Yes, I am aware he hires somebody to do this for him! But the stuff reads so well I actually found myself laughing out loud at some of the phrasing. I would highly recommend you give it a read.

#2: They are quite accurate in what they say about buyer psychology.

In fact, I have used many of the psychological tactics in many of my own products and advertisements.

#3: They are “incomplete”

Let me explain this one a bit more. In every product you’ll ever find there are inherent flaws. Everything. From toothpaste to marketing how-to guides. It’s impossible to create the perfect product for every person.

Many times with internet marketing people will purchase a product and then say “but what do I do now?” The answer is… implement and see how it works for you.

The missing link for so many comes only in the form of self discovery. Not every market reacts exactly the same, not every person is able to use the same sales tactics.

Good products, and even great products have holes in them which for the most part will can only be filled by an individuals desire to make the system work for them.

I know. It’s weird.

This is why there’s such a high value placed on personal coaching. Only in personal coaching is the teacher able to directly work with the student and see where those small “training gaps” really exist.

Does that make sense?

About Google Nemesis:

Most of the emails I’ve received about this are comments about posts made in forums. Posts saying that you should “opt out” of anyone’s list who would endorsed such an over-hyped obvious rip-off product…

Not to bash on those kids… but shut the fuck up.

Seriously, nobody benefits from the forum screaming and fighting. You can post your own review… you can make all the comments and suggestions you like, but to tell impressionable people never to discover for themselves what will work and won’t work is pure evil.

I mean that. It’s just dumb. So stop it.

Google Nemesis is not for newbies. Nothing Chris X puts out is for total newbies. He even admits that in his own writing and products.

If you watched the pre-launch video to the end he even makes the statement that “this system will not make you rich” He flat out says the goal is to get a person to making their first $100 per day online.

And I think that’s fair. $100 bucks a day is a great success!

But What About The Hype?

I have told many people NOT to buy Google Nemesis. Let me explain why:

If you are just getting started GN is NOT what you should be spending your money on. In fact (and this is my own personal belief system working) Pay Per Click is NOT what you should be spending your money on.

PPC is a hard road to hoe for even the most seasoned marketers. It takes time, it takes testing and beyond everything else it takes MONEY TO LOOSE…

I think every person selling PPC advice should start off the sales pitch by saying “You need to expect to loose a few hundred before you see income”

The reason for this is because of the testing needed.

You need to test your headline…

You need to test your offer…

You need to test your landing page…

You need to test your testing…

It gets expensive.

I tell people not to use PPC as their method of advertising if they do not have the start up funds to loose at least $200 - $300 (depending on the niche)

Google Nemesis is a faster way to test than simply flying blind.

Here’s How It Works:

You will choose a product to promote.

You will create tracking links to that product
You will send traffic via PPC to a “presell page” where you offer a review of sorts on the product.

Here’s where it all comes together…

That review page is equipped with software which will tell you how long a person stayed on the site, approximately where the person stopped, which links were clicked, which keywords brought them in, and what they did when they left.

If you were around a few months ago you probably heard of a software called Conversion Profits. This was developed by a dude named Peter Yoon and shows conversion rates based on what people do when they come to your page.

I like this stuff. I used this stuff. And if the Good Dr. Yoon would grace me with an interview I might just show off exactly what this stuff does! (Hint, hint… Yoon… you out there… the button you’re looking for is called “reply”)

Please keep in mind this is not the full scope of what GN does, there are many more functions in there than I even have time to write about.

The Bottom Line:

What Google Nemesis does is shorten (hopefully) the learning curve and testing time between launching a PPC campaign and when it becomes profitable.

Can you get this information without paying for it? Sure. Just like you can get anything on the net without paying for it… if you run all over the place cobbling together bits from here and there.

Is it worth the price?

I have no idea. Back in the day I personally was a member of The Affiliates Den and enjoyed how the system worked. Do I still use it? No… because I have a list and can make money when I hit “send”.

Should You Buy It?

I have no idea. What I do know is you SHOULD NOT buy it if you’re broke and/or on your last few bucks. Whatever monthly fee Chris is charging does not include the cost for clicks.

If you can afford both the service as well as the word bidding… and if you are cool with learning some new tricks I’m sure Google Nemesis is perfect for you.

If you’ve spent any time online you’ve probably run into a lot of sites screaming and yelling about using PLR, or Resale Rights on products. Is this crap?

Sometimes… but more often yes than no.

Never being the one who likes to be the bringer of bad news… it seems I fall into that roll frequently!

Yes, Resale Rights products can suck hard-core. (When done poorly)

The reason for that, however, is not because the products are bad… but because the people selling them do not know HOW to do it right!

Hence the reason for me interviewing Sean Clark.

Sean is pretty stinking successful at this whole “resell” gig and just released a video showing how he made over $37,000 in only 90 days from these techniques.

Here are just a few pointers you can use when looking into your next business opportunity. I took the liberty of recording most of this in audio format so you don’t have to spend too much time reading! Just click the play button to start.

• If A Business Opportunity Is Unwilling To Provide High-Quality No Cost Info… It Might Be A Good Idea To Go Elsewhere

• Know yourself before you buy something. Why? Because you have goals, desires and strengths which will lend itself to different types of business models. Pick the wrong one and your money might suffer.

• No matter what you want to do, do it online first to see if people are buying. Why? No Barrier To Entry. You can test an idea for free or cheap and find out before you blow wads of cash and years of your life if people are really interested.

• Know your end result before you begin.

• Always begin by asking “What’s In It For THEM”. What’s in it for your list, what’s in it for your clients, what’s in it for other people. Focus on the quality before you focus on your big pay day. If you do it like this the chances of your big pay day being even bigger just might increase!

• How are you going to drive traffic to your site/leads to your business? Know this before you invest in a business opportunity.

• When looking at a business opportunity always ask “Is this for me?”

• Is this business opportunity a full business… or is it a part of a business? Know the difference.

• When looking at PLR always ask if it’s a quality product… would YOU buy this?

• Are you ready to actually put in effort? If you are not at the point where you’re willing to actually do work… do not try. There is no such thing as a legitimate “get rich quick”.

• You can find/make a money button, but it takes time to get to the point. Accept this and be ready for it. You will not become a millionaire overnight… but you can speed up the process by having a proven plan of action.

• Don’t be afraid to screw up. The world will forgive and forget. (Trust me on this one!)

One of the biggest mistakes, at least in my opinion, folks in various online industries make is confusing “work from home” with “be my own boss”. There is a massive night and day difference!

How many times have you searched online to find a job, a REAL job where you can actually do the work from home and you come up with every crazy “make money online” scam you could possibly imagine?

My point exactly.

The reason for this has nothing to do with the lack of actual jobs but everything to do with the fact industry leaders have figured out your “buying triggers” are EXACTLY the same as those folks looking for a business opportunity.

What is a “buying trigger”? It’s actually very simple, and in this letter I’m going to peel back the curtain behind why and how you’re marked to by these massive internet artists… and you can avoid and in may ways THRIVE off of their own tactics!

What Is A Buying Trigger?

Simply put a buying trigger is an emotional want/need you have which causes you to make a purchase. Marketers tap into these triggers by offering you exactly what you think you are looking for.

Here’s an example: Gayle from Team Double Click and I recently conducted a little pole where we asked folks coming to her site, people who were looking for legitimate “Work From Home” jobs what their biggest concerns were.

The results were not all that shocking:

63.5% of everyone said “Lack of legitimate work from home jobs”

95.1% said their biggest problem at home was “Finances”

Hmmmmm. I wonder how an online marketer would cash in on these needs?

Here’s How It’s Done – SCAM Reports!

The first tactic used to suck you into buying something you may not need is the “Watch Out For Scams!” tactic.

Seen these before? You’ll search through Google, Yahoo, MSN and you’ll start seeing these ads along the sides telling you how if you click the link they’ll take you to a page where you will ONLY find legitimate work from home careers!

What’s the result?

Not good. For the most part these sites are doing what’s called “Affiliate Marketing”. This is one of the most basics ways to make money online and it involves very simply tossing up a website and selling other peoples products for a cut of the sale.

End of story! People who use this tactic do not need a product of their own, they do not even need a website in many cases!

But you need to be aware of this tactic so you’re not pulled in…

How It’s Done – Make Fast, Easy Money From Home

Remember that 95.1% statistic I flashed at you a few paragraphs ago? Welcome to the #1 emotional buying trigger in the world!

Money. Cash. Getting Rich. Fast, Easy, Be In Control, Retire Early… all of these are trigger words/phrases you’ll see all over the place when you’re looking for some legitimate online work.

Here is where the Biz op brigade (business opportunity peddlers) start to infringe on the lives of folks who just want a W2 paycheck….

Think about how cool it would be for you to start making the money you’re really worth… not just working for some dorky company, but actually making money hand over fist, while you sleep, and in numbers you’ve only dreamed of…

And there you have it. When you read that last paragraph how did it make you feel? Even if you’re the most skeptical, jaded person on the planet a part of you really yearns for what I just said to come true.

That’s how it works. That’s how you’re pulled in.

You click the link which promises a future of rich abundance… you land on a page with an insane headline screaming of success you’ve always wanted to achieve… you read a page that’s punctuated by huge cash screen shots, pictures of people sleeping on the beach, doing all the things you’ve always wanted to do…

Then you get to the end… and for the low, low investment of just $29.95 you can unlock the very same secrets that have brought all these other people… people just like you wealth beyond imagine!

Buy Now.

What Do You Do?

Have you ever purchased a product like this? Come on! Be honest! Have you ever thought about it? Have you ever felt your hand twitch towards your wallet as your eyes grazed down the very well laid out page?

Don’t be ashamed. I’ve bought these products to the tune of about $10,000! Some suck, some rock. Such is the nature of life.

But at the end of the day you need to be aware of the massive difference between a “Business Opportunity” and a “Work From Home Job”.

Companies like Team Double Click are actual “JOBS”. You get paid to do real work with real companies… but places like this are few and far between.

What You Must Know About The Coming Economic Crisis

I don’t want to freak you out here, but I’m going to shed some extremely harsh light on a truth you might already be feeling in your guts…

The world of employment as you know it has come to an end. The reason there are so many Network/Multi-Level Marketing companies out there trying to “Sell You” a job is for the simple fact large corporations have discovered they can virtually remove labor overhead and turn their workforce into another revenue stream… by simply selling the job.

Is this bad? Maybe. But what is more important than focusing the suck factor and seeming scammy nature of these increasing situations is to focus on what you can do about it.

Know your outcome. Know what you want and have a plan to get there.

Seriously, it does not matter if you’re fiendishly tailoring your resume for your 63^rd interview or if you’re launching a new internet business because you’re sick of waiting for somebody else to say you can get paid… you need a plan.

You need a plan and you need to act on said plan.

Understand what you’re getting into before you take out your credit card and “invest” in your future… too many people loose too much money because they don’t do a gut check.

Pick, plan and stick.

Pick: Your goal… do you want a “job” or do you want to start a business?
Either way you need to have a written goal and…

Plan: You need to have a path laid out so you can achieve your goal. I’m sure you’ve heard the cliché… “Fail to plan means you’re planning to fail.” No truer words have been spoken.

Stick: You will encounter obstacles, be ready for them and expect them. But above all else stick to your path, keep your eye on your prize and go for it with everything you are.

It really does not matter if you’re looking for your next Job or if you want a million dollar business… the time, effort and energy are almost exactly the same, the obstacles are almost exactly the same… it’s up to YOU to make them happen!
